The Solar Arts building is a charming commercial and cultural hub in Northeast Minneapolis, home to many including over a dozen artist studios, craft beer masters Indeed Brewing, and a bustling events venue maintained by Chowgirls. The century-old building holds its own in terms of history, and neighbor prominence, but owners Duane and Larry also wanted to integrate modern technologies into the building as well. In their own words, they added a rooftop solar array to let the sun power the pure creativity of its tenants.
