Blue Horizon Energy is honored to announce the company has been named the 2020 Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA) Member of the Year. The award will be presented during a Zoom ceremony with MnSEIA members and leadership on September 23.

Griffin Dooling is the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Horizon Energy. As a full-service clean energy development company, BHE’s projects generate reliable, efficient, and sustainable power for businesses and communities. Dooling also serves on the board of the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association as its Vice President.
“As one of the fastest-growing companies within our association, Blue Horizon Energy is deeply involved with MnSEIA’s development, educational programming, and lobbying efforts,” says David Shaffer, MnSEIA Executive Director. “Griffin’s work over the last year has helped foster MnSEIA’s new strategic plan. In addition to donating Board meeting space and equipment for our new offices, Griffin has fostered the development of our new President’s Circle and helped facilitate a much needed dues increase. His work on the Endorsement Committee has meant that for the first time in MnSEIA’s history we were able to endorse candidates, which elevates our ability to advocate for solar to a new level and permits us to take advantage of our 501c6 status. Our organization is markedly better because one company decided to roll-up its sleeves, and really get engaged,” Shaffer explained.
